Amp for AA Assassin 8''

I plan on purchasing one of the new assassin 8's to add some punch to my system. What amp would you recommend for one assassin? I know they are rated at 250 but should I aim higher? I would love to keep the amp under $200 if thats possible.

Kicker ZX 300.1 ?

Looks good.... would you recommend spending the extra $50 for the 400.1 or would 300.1 be enough?

If you don't have a truck, an amp with a high order crossover, 18db or 24 rather than 12 might help keep the illusion of bass up front.

But for a value priced amp, I see nothing that comes close to the Panasonic digital... 750 watts RMS at 2 ohms for as little as $99 on the web... that's a lot of watts per dollar. Can't have too much headroom, and you would probably spend that or more on any amp.
