Amp for a Single 15" RE SE Subwoofer?

Which amp should I buy, I will wire this sub to a 2 ohm load.... Id like something between 1000-1500 watts.

ugh the RE SE is rated at 600 watts, if your goin to feed it 1000-1500 watts i hope your saving up money for a recone........

give it 1kw at MoSt. i wouldnt go over that.

i gave mine 800w and it got to full excursion, you seriously shouldnt need more, after impedance rise, you will loose a few watts. i ran mine off a DEI110D - so if you end up down the road with a pair of DVC4 subs, you can have 1100w@1, and if you stick with the single DVC4 sub, you get 800w@2 (perfect for the RESE)

anything that does ~800w@2ohm should be perfect for you.

FYI, Ikesound has refurbed DEI amps for cheap...

I installed a JBL 600.1 with my buddy's RE SE12 and its a perfect match.
