Amp for (4) RE audio REX 12?

They are rated at 175 at 4 ohms. So what amp should i get? And can they handle more then 175 a piece?

Why run 4? They are only 175, why not just buy a little better quality subs and get higher RMS.. ? I'm sure you could get 2 subs of higher quality that would put out the same as those 4..

175 is nothing for subs..

Even a budget system you want at least 300 RMS per sub..

My bad then.. i guess i missed the part of already having them.. woops thought he was going to buy them.. well find an amp that pushes 700rms @ 1ohm or 4 ohm..

You'll either hook them all up in par. to get 1 ohm or have to wire 2 subs series then the other 2 series then wire the two sets parl. to make a 4 ohm load..

Yep any decent 2 channel that will bridge to 700-900w @ 4 ohms. or a 1000w @ 1 ohm mono amp.

Did not say there was.. if that's what he wants to do.. just don't see the point.. Just because there are 4 subs does not mean he will have any improved sound over 2 higher rated subs.. all I'm saying.
