Sorry for the quality, my phone was the only camera I had and it's only 2 MP

The whole bar with the logo slides out and is nice solid metal. Perfect for me cause I had to flip my amp upside down and didnt want an upside down logo

Here's the extended version, it wouldn't fit on my amp rack, but it does look pretty sweet. Also, it's a whole new metal bar to put in, excellent job arc audio!

Here's the terminals. The screws are by far the most sturdiest I've ever felt on an amp.

Here's the misc stuff, excellent options for running it with subs, in stereo or mono, excellent versatility with the filters. My only complaint is the dials are a hard rubber... common at least make them plastic!

Here's the replacement amp. The alpines right rear channel was making any speaker I hooked up to sound blown. The arc audio is freaking huge, this is the shortened version too without the sides hooked on.

My back seats fold down, behind the amp rack is my subs rear firing. I'm pretty happy with it for a novice 18-year-old setup.

So basically, the amp is built like a tank. It's as solid as your going to get, no rattling when tilted it or anything. It's heavy as crap too, but thats a good thing. Just some things to point out: it's fan cooled, the distortion is a ridiculous >0.005% THD, it has micro processors built in, it was designed by Chip Foose which is freaking awesome, and it's crazy powerful, considering each channel runs 160 watts at 2 ohms, but I only have 4 ohm speakers so 80 watts is still plenty.

So far, with a little bit of tweaking, it gets a lot louder than my Alpine and the clarity is phenomenal. The overall sound quality is hands down better, the mid-bass is much more shiny and I'm hearing every piece of music perfectly. The headunit I have is the Alpine CDA-117, so it's Burr-Brown processor is a pretty solid match. For the price of the amp on WoofersEtc, this amp is a definite keeper.

What does Chip Foose know about amplifiers besides Arc Audio kissing his *** and putting his name on a heat sink?

Sorry, but your amplifier was designed by Robert Zeff. Don't believe me? Read *HERE*

Or if you are too lazy:

FD Series Amplifiers – The FD series amplifiers are exclusively designed by Robert Zeff for Arc Audio featuring multi-layer circuit board designs, Sanken output devices, microprocessor-controlled, fully-regulated power supplies, integrated temperature controlled cooling fans and extremely high damping factors to ensure the highest sound quality and performance.

Lastly, welcome to 2006 since Arc Audio no longer has Foose amplifiers as part of their lineup!
