no they arent 06's and idk what the price range is because I'm asking for a friend and he didn't specify, but as soon as I find out I will post it, but for now can you just throw out ideas?

The 06 models handle more power, and take abuse way better.

i had a kicker sx 1250.1 on my 03 L7's

I had 2 l7 powered with a Hifonics bx1500d. it worked pretty good for me and u can get them for about $150 used $200 new

My Orion 1200d slams my 06' L7's. Thats with the gain just barely past the halfway mark. If you can find one, I highly recommend it. Good Luck. Later...

I just got 2 Kicker Solo Baric L7 12's and I am either going with the Power Acoustik A3000DB for about $320 or the Hifonics BX2005D for about $360...either amp will be MORE then enough...the Power Acoustik has a 3000 watt Max at 1 ohm and the Hifonics has a 4000 watt max at 1 ohm rating....the Orions are nice...but you won't find a new 2500d for under 450....

run with a smaller box if you end up short on wattage.
