Amp For 2 Kicker 12" Comps!

Hey guys, I need a Monoblock amp that puts out 300w RMS @ 2 ohms and can run off 8-guage wire from the battery to the trunk.. any suggestions? So far I've been looking at kicker and mtx, but I know there's others.. thanks!

You only want to send 150w to each sub? They can handle around 200-250w rms of clean power.

i'd push around 600rms to them but turn the gain down lol but thats me

but if u want 300 rms to be safe, then listen to the guys on here.......

Hey guys, if my subs can take the extra hundred watts or so thats great! But The KX400.1 for example requires 4 guage wire from the battery to the amp, while the ZX300.1 requires 8guage (which I have already installed!) So if at all possible I'd like to stick to an amp that doesnt need 4guage.. too bad though! I fell in love with the kx400.1!

u could get by with 8 gauge on the kx400.1

Are you sure? I'd hate to set something on fire cuz I didn't have a high enough guage wire.. mind you, this wire is being run on a Sunfire so its probably only like 10 feet long.. also I thought the Kicker Comps put out 150rms, not 200-250rms as suggested?
