amp for 2 18" sx

what would be a good amp for these subs? im looking to put another (i already have one) in the trunk of my car.. the box will be ~15 cubes after port and displacement.

im looking for something in the 2000 watt range, i have one running off a bx1605 now, and im pretty happy.

i would like to keep my alternator stock, because no one makes alternators for 2003 taurus'. the lowest quote i got for one was in the $500 range //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

i WILL have a yellow top and big 3 done. (i ran around 1600 watts with a kicker sx 1250.1 and a component amp with minimal dimming on all stock electrical.. so i dont think 2000 watts will be a problem)

so the bottom line is, i need something in the 2000 watt range in 2 ohm that'll work good off a stock alternator

pfffew.. that was alot... any suggestions??

The Orion is probably going to be one of the most efficient amps youll find with that output, gets my vote as well.

Might look into getting your current alt rewound, rather than a whole new one.
