amp for 18 inch solo x

My friend just bought a solo x on ebay the other day now he is looking for a amp. Can anyone make any suggestions on a good amp to push the solo x that isn't too awful expensive. A good efficient amp as well.

he got a solo x and not pay a bunch for an amp to push it, hes out of his mind. But does he want to push it to its full potential or something to get it thumping

I'm not sure on the voice coil config, i just text him to ask him. Waiting for a reply. He got a pretty good idea on the solo x, he got it for $500.

How much do you want for the orion?

edit: he just text me back and said it was dual 2.

2500D isn't enough juice. You need atleast two of those to get it moving.

im going to be running a PowerAcoustik sl-5500d at 1ohm. its rated at 4200rms or you could tell him to run an earthquake ph5000d, or a kx2500.

2500 a piece is more than enough to do a 153.x in my buddy's tahoe(2 18" solo x and two kicker kx2500.1)
