Amp For 1 Type R 12"

Yo can anyone help me choose an amp for a type R i'm getting?

its the 4 ohm version, so i'm looking for something with 2 ohm 600 - 700 rms.

I was planning to get the MRX-M50, but it only gives 500 rms, and the sub takes 600 so im worried about under powering it.

Is there any problem with mixing brands when choosing a sub and amp?

I found a 'kicker-ex1000.1' which gives 700 rms, but I'm not too sure on kicker.
