amp flashing on and off

hey,

i just purchased my amp wiring kit, and i already ahd rcas and remote wire run. so i ran the power wire and ground, and then i hooked up my orion 400.4 and the power light flashes on once every 3 seconds...so i thought maybe something was wrong with the amp, so i hooked up my orion 800.2 and it did the same exact thing. anyone have any clue whats wrong?

bad ground? remote wire/
