Will I fry my rainbows??

Hi guyz just recieved my RAINBOWS CMX's today(thnks to Don), i am looking an amp to power them, found one eclipse amp which does 100 watts x 2 but thinking what if rainbows want just more than their nominal rating (100watts) so i am looking for 2 channel amp around 125-150 watts @ 4 Ohm, found US AMP Xt1600.2 which does 200X2 @ 4 ohm, will it fry my comps?? or these amps slightly under rated? my budged is around $225 Flakko is givin me good deal but wondering tht it won't hurt my speakers. plz advise.

post pics in speaker forum of the cmx's or no help plzzzz i beg u for pics of comps

but ne ways id say 175 would be fine with the cmx's. id suggest jl 300/2, uhhhhh PG makes good amps, memphis, lots of options, arc audio us amps.

they'll be fine. cmx's can take that power if you wanted. hell, i have 180 watts going to my d361.

That amp probably won't fry the speakers, but YOU could. What I mean is user error....clipped signal, excess heat, improperly setting gains, etc. Get as much power as you can find for your budget and fire them up!!

I'll be sending my germaniums about 200 watts each, and that is rather high, but it's all a matter of how you adjust your amplifier.
