ya i dont get it ether, its a ppi amp but even they dont know lol lol.......

somebody screw up posting specs.

I just went on the ppi website. It says 1 ohm stable but also lists .5 so now I'm confused lol
Exactly. From what Ralph told me at "Crazy Ralph's" in Gonzalez LA (two weeks ago), the ba7000.1 is the new version of the bk1800, the ba5000.1 is the new bk1300 and on down the line. Those two are .5 ohm stable. He opened up a 7000.1 and it was impressive.

I know it's under the black ice amps ? But again they have information screwed up on that site. Yeah I think I might also order one. Can someone put up the tests ? I tried to find them but no luck in doing so.

I hear you can find clamp results on caco.

ya the other site have a clamp test on the 7000 .

from what i under stand only the newer ppi amps are 0.5 ohm stable. not sure on the 5000 but heard the 7000 is.

i wish my 1800 was.

and ya they made this as a upgrade of the bk.

I might have been wrong about the ba5000 being .5 stable. I was making an assumption due to the claimed numbers.

ya i dont think i have read anybody clamping or testing the 5000 yet. as i am wandering what it can do.

but for me and what i want to do im going with 2 7000 that should be plenty for 2 15" .

was thinking about strapping them but not sure what load 2 strapped can do. maybe 1 ohm strapped ?

but i have heard nothing but good about the 7000 .

only time will tell if they will hold up to 0.5 load.

i hope they do good.

I would expect them to do 1 ohm strapped, since it is .5ohm stable
