hi,

i have a pioneer gm-x944 amp and the fan is not running when the amp is on.

does it only kick in once the thermostats activate it, or should it run automaticaly?

thanks for any help.

most amps detect heat and when it is hot enough, the fan comes on, i really don't know why, just something else to go wrong, it should just be on when the amp is, anyways run the amp for a while, monitoring it's temperature egvery five minutes or so, if it gets really hot and the fan doesn't come on, something is wrong, my ppi's fan don't come on till it gets fairly hot, . hope that helps

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
