Ok, took me all day to get to this thread (503error...again) and I have to say my all-time has, and will always be thick heatsink Finns, especially brushed/milled..... None of this gauty plastic all over or pansy paper thin finns. Look at the first directed 99-01, kicker xs/zr of the same time....even cadence is putting out a decent look, and the 25-to-life throw-back..... Another of the worst thing manufacturers do is little plastic feet.....sure they can be easy to replace, but they are all different, and become impossible to find......and they do break real easy....same deal with simple holes in the thin bottom plate sheet metal. Easily bent, removing paint to allow rust, and exposing the inside, plus it makes a Plexiglas bottom trump mounting ability.... Internal mounting is the best, like holes through the fins, or under covers. Plus, looks cleaner.... Plexg is nice, even a little on the front, when done right. Lighting is nice when classy, but not disco. Jbl crown, and older infinity, iirc, did nice, both stock and optional..... And for the love of god, I'm not putting 8awg on a 2k amp. And, they don't sell 2/0awg forks, so keep in mind to allow proper wiring. It's better to put a smaller wire in an oversized receptacle , than under-wire.... Again, I kind of like how cadence cleaned up the terminals, though the set screw choice is retarded, being no-bite Phillips......
