Amp design

what kind of amps are you designing cast or extruded or both? managing cables is something I would like to see but easy access.

Clean and cool is the way to go, all this plex talk is sh**, unless your designing for garage built amps. Who are you designing for?

neons = 90's poweracoustik , flames = 90's audiobahn. Both ideas = terrible amps. LOL

Best idea ever , chunk of raw aluminum with awesome internals. Keep outside design as simple as possible so you can focus all the cost on the inside , that way you end up with a killer product that you don't have to charge and arm and a leg for.

I'm doing extruded bodies with end caps. Probably sheet metal control panels behind the end caps. I want to come up with new innovative ideas for things like cable management and mounting solutions, but still constrain myself to the construction methods i described.

Any suggestions on mounting solutions? Would a mounting bracket be something of interest? Any ideas for cable management?

I'm definitely wanting to create a clean design, but also have it look aggressive. I'm leaning towards an all black amp...

cool, thanks for the feedback guys!

Any preference on exposed connectors on the ends? ....do you like them showing, or do you like a little bit of an overhang to hid the connectors/switches/wire connections? Of course having an overhang adds to the overall length of the amp, but it does visually clean it up

on 1500 watts and up, PLEASE 1/0 INPUTS //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So did I miss the post where he said what company he works for?
I'm a young designer looking to build up my portfolio with professional level work. I would like to come up with something that's manufacturable and with such quality it looks like a winning market product.

So then, that would be no company right?
