amp comparison

[Alpinerocks]

Well, i have a 15" type r and my buddy thinks his amp (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-5xcSSxTF1QL/p_113KAC7202/Kenwood-KAC-7202.html) will be able to power it way better than this amp (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-WX8yxPaS58R/p_500MRPM850/Alpine-MRP-M850.html). Just wondering what you guys were thinking. Common sense is telling me the alpine will be more powerful

if those are your only options you need to go with the alpine..i have a kenwood 9103d and its over rated...it will do the rms wattage at 4ohms but they basically make up their 2ohm wattage

alpine hands down.

havent really been up to date with the audio stuff. but i doubt that kenwood stepped their game up within a couple of months ;P
