For the SDC2.5 15"s?

I'm starting my new project in May and I plan on buying a pair AQ SDC2.5 15"s from DJ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'm still debating on which amp to get for them. I know the subs can do a little more than what they are rated at, which is why I'm looking into an amp that can over 1200w @ 1ohm...perhaps one that can do 1400-1600, giving each sub 700-800.

My original plan was to buy the little package deal...2 SDC2.5 15"s with the AQ 1200D. Then I looked at the Audiopipe 15001D and read it was a decent amp that put out rated @1ohm for cheap, then found the killer deal on the SAZ1500 for $350.

I'm dying to get the Sundown amp but from the sites that sold them it said that the sale for $350 only lasts until March 31st. There's no way I will have that money by that time...unless someone knows where I can buy one for that price a couple months from now? I'll def. have money by then....just not right now.

I'm sure most of you will recommend Sundown, but deep down I'm trying not to break the bank. The AP15001D is around $200-230 and would be nice for the price and save me cash.

Any advice or suggestions are appreciated.

they are decent..... get an aq 2200 it is perfect just get an extra batt in the back and ur set. if ur smart they will handle it easy cuz i ran a pair of 12's with a gp3000d daily...

i actually got the Audiopipe amp myself.....I was thinking of getting the 2.5's myself but prolly in 12's thinking this is a great match.......should also match those 15's well

I got a bxi2006d at 1ohm on those. I haven't played the sub for a long time yet but short 1-2min burst at full tilt doesn't seems to stress theses subs. I've heard that they'll take over 1k watt if you are carefull and not clipping the hell out of those.
