amp choice help

No arguments from me, man. I was just letting him know what he's getting into.
If it were me, I'd return or sell the subs. No way would I buy a $400 - $600 amp for a pair of $250 subs. NO WAY!
Agreed. Plus electrical upgrades to have it run properly. But, hey, some people like the powah haha.

I'm contemplating running 120 x 2 to the fronts and 400 to a Dcon (hopefully suspended enclosure)...I'm nervous about the lack of volume.

I remember you mentioning the suspended enclosure in my build thread. I'd give it a go. If you get over the SQ bug or simply don't like the setup, you can always return to your current equipment...

ok so you guys are telling me i should of got the 4 ohms in stead of the 2 ohms? and whys that?

im a lil new to the car audio. and i changed my mind i want to run atleast 3k rms in total so what good amps are out there on a 500 budget? im going to be running these subs at 2 ohms total load.
