Amp Blowing Fuse?

I recently bought an Earthquake amp and hooked it up like usual. As soon as I turn the ignition the fuse on the amp blows. It is only a 40A fuse so it's not a power hungry amp, so i was wondering the causes? I adjusted the wires and grounds and happened twice. Any suggestions?
