so I'm a week away from buying a amp to power my 12.1d sub. I've narrowed it down to these two amps. Any information/suggestions/input that people have would be great.
I'd give a slight edge in quality to the mtx simply b/c I've read quite a few posts of people saying they've had problems with rf's. As far as sq/power I don't think you'd hear a difference.
i dont mean to offend anyone, but rf isnt rf anymore. they built there rep on performance, and now theyre using their rep...and not building the same quality stuff they used to.
actually 1 ohm stable, or just rated to be 1 ohm stable? ive had no problems on my blue thunder pro 400x5 with running 1 ohm on the sub channel //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Actually 1 ohm stable would be nice, but its still a good amp @ 2 amps....ahh, the good old Blue Thunder series, have an older 4 channel here as well as some ancient MTX subs lol.
