amp and box for jbl 1500 GTI

hi room, i need help making a decision on a amp for my JBL'S 15 GTI the one's that has the 1000 on the dust cap. well i wanted to get a AUTOTEK 1900 which will go 1500 rms to 2 ohms since the subs are 4 ohms. or get a jbl 1200. your help will be real welcome....... oh i'll go with a vented box...

do you have two subs, or 1? whats the rms on them?

You can wire your sub(s) down to 1 ohm, and do 1900wrms

i have 2 subs and they're 4 ohms the dust cap has 1000 the back has 1000 max amp power but some say is 600 rms....

those are 800wrms, so I'd run it at 2 ohms, which would look like this (once again, if you use that amp)

well they came out back in 2000 i think.... the new 15 are 800 rms 5,000 peak... the old ones i had a pair of 10's they sound it good... but i want to know if they could handle 1500 rms so i dont burn them...they're good subs....
