Amp advice

Just picked up a Sundown X 12 d2 and a matching box. I've had my eyes on a Soundqubed 1200D, but with this black friday sale coming up, a 2200D could also be doable. My fear is that 1200w won't be enough, but 2200w is way too much, especially since I have no intention of getting a bigger alt at the moment (big 3 and a better battery are ok though). I have no intention of competing, ever, I just want some good clean bumps. I guess, just looking for opinions on why I should go with one over the other, or maybe a suggestion on another amp that's of equal price/value. Thanks.
