Amp advice for single sub

What is a decent quality amp that is inexpensive, relatively, to power a single 10" pioneer sub in a small custom sealed enclosure, that will be coming from my factory HU? Also, can someone briefly explain how to add this amp to my factory HU to power only the sub. I'm running 3-way 6x8's in all four doors, that should be adequate with the factory preamp in the HU. Thanx.

you are going to need a line out convertor, which will take the signal from one set of speakers and input that into the amplifier for the sub.

give us more specifics on the sub, like what the rms rating is and what your budget is...

I've heard good things about profile, check thier web site for referbs or E-bay. I will be running the CA400M pretty soon. You should be able to pick on up for under $100 shipped.

What no Kenwood???,
Some amps have a line level input built in (like the kenwoods) which will make the line ouput converter unessesary, look for that while your shopping around.

Look for something with 150 to 250 watts rms bridged at 4ohms.
kenwood has sorta fallen out of the top of the game IMO, all of those amplifers fit yourpower and are very close to your cost needs
