Most of the athletes are not professionals at their sport. Traditionally no 'pros' were allowed to play, but politics have changed that in some of the sports that do entertain a professional contingent. I dont think there is sucha thing as a professional curling or bobsled program.

In other countries there is professional Curling, Canada is huge into curling, its almost as big as hockey there.
