how hard is it to get accepted for renting a house with roommates?

What are you renting? apartment or house? from a company or from a random person? some people will not even do credit checks if you are renting a house. need more info.

FIrst of all, you had better know who the phuck your rooming with, because if you all get that place and some or all split, all your credits get phucked. I would have the people with the most income rent the place and you just move in and pay them rent or your portion ot the bills. And YES the run credit just like an apartment. especially now.

true but it'd be better to have 4 instead of just one. if just one person is on the contract and someone doesn't pay they can only go to him for the money. if all 4 is on the contract and one or more doesn't pay then they can go to anyone for the money and if they don't want their credit to **** then they'll pay it.

Dang only 950 a month split between 4 people is pretty darn cheap. They're going to check whoever's credit is going to be on the lease. If one or two of your roomates trust you all enough to put their credit at risk then they can just be the only people on the lease and the rest can just live there and pay rent. Although there are often a lot of cases like this on Judge Judy and Judge Mathis all the time lol

no record whatsoever, and i've never rented anything

credit may be on the bad side though

another thing the house is downtown near USC and other colleges if that makes a different, pretty much the area that all the college kids live
