Am I running 24v?

I wired a 2nd batt yesterday. Ran previous power wire to new batt, grounded it, then came off 2nd batt with a new power wire for my amp. I then fried my speaker outputs on my HU but I THINK touchin the speaker wires to the amp while it was on, but someone mentioned me running 24v doing it. Im not running 24v am I? someone break this down!

As long as you wired them in parallel (positive to positive), no you are not running 24V.

In parallel wiring, voltage stays the same

If you were to wire them in series....then yes, you would have 24V

I said how I wired it in the first post. Ran a wire from main batts pos, to 2nd batt pos. Then grounded the battery.
