[QUOTE="The Camry, post: 8368875, member: 657974"] Ive got a friend..or rather a guy i know with too much money who has two p3s in a supra on around 1000 watts i think. and they are ******* loud. Zero sound quality but SPL up the ***. Prob has alot to do with the fact its a supra and all. Small cars plus 2 12s will always have high output. From what ive seen with brand name vs alot of the "underground mainstream" like sundown, fi, and things on SSA store is U. M. companies usually underrate the hell out of their amps/subs. You can throw 1200rms on a sundown sa-12 all day long, Try that with a RF/kenwood/ect Sub. customer service tends to vary. constant R&D from the U. M. companies, Alot of info because the real car audio enthusiast try the U.M. brands and discuss them were they know better than to blow 500 on a RF sub. Only Mainstream sub companies i tend to hear supported is JBL/JL(are they the same idk, one of two) for their slash amps and w_ series subs. . Alpine for amps/headunits. Can get great prices used. kenwood for their excelon Hu which are good for the money. Ive never heard anyone recommend RF ever unless someone already had them and really wanted to stick to the brand.
