a couple of Dayton 8's would sound nice and get decently loud.

what were the 12s?and you can still get the lows from 1508s.

from a single though you may not be all that if your 12s were decent

The 12's were a pair of infinity Ref 1230's. Great subs that got decently low but sounded amazing in a 4 cuf box @ 32 hz. you can put the 1508s in .5-1ft each and they ive plenty of bass

thank god DD decided to start making them in dvc
a kid here is running 2 cadence daytona 2500s strapped @ .25ohms to 4 1508s

they get plain nasty in his eclipse. if i remember right hes doing 154-155 on the glass

yeah no shit.... like 2 weeks after i bought mine i heard about the new ones lol. oh well. i might just have to buy a 2nd so i can run them at 2 ohms lol. always wanted to get a huge *** 2 channel amp and bridge it to see what a 1508 could really handle... lol

we put 1800 on a single in a ext cab f150 in a fart box and broke a 150

subs is still going strong. id say to burp you could maybe get by with 2k without destroying it.

after a few burps it may be done tho

woot. i wonder what it could handle daily... maybe i'll try to put 1k on it and see how long it survives... lol.

(now i wish i had kept my kicker 850.2... would have been perfect)

are seeing around 7000 daily on 4

he doesnt beat them to death all day long but hes a typical 19 year old that doesnt always know when to turn them down or off

lol, i know what you mean. i was just browsing ebay and found a hifonics 1006. 200 bucks. 1000 rms at 4 ohms bridged... plus i have good enough electrical to hold good voltage so i think it'd be able to put that out, not too much to spend to show some people up with a single 8 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

well i just measured and i think 12's will fit, just looking now to see if i can figure out a box to work. I got 60" wide X 14" deep X 13 " tall. Im seeing if i can make that into 4 cubic foot @ 32 hz. If i can ill be getting another 12" Se and be running a pair of them off about 1000 RMS. I just guess i need to look into my charging system now and make sure it can handle that. Its stock alt and a wal~mart batt. Im hoping that the big 3 will make it be ok. I guess i need to ask that kinda stuff in a diff part of the forum though.
