alumapro alchemy sub box question

i would like to know what the best box would be for two 12 inch alchemys running about 400 -500 each in a 95 dakota extended cab. the box would be in the back seat. i listen to rap and rock. i would like to have a high db level but with good sound quality. all help is appreciated.

I ran the Alchemy Parameters through WinISD and FlexSYS and came up with 1.66ft^3 per sub. This is a little larger than I prefer, as my Alchemy's are at about 1.5ft^3 per sub and seem quite happy there durring some preliminary testing I did.

Quite the impressive subs all arround! They have exceeded my expectations.

Adding to this----

Just trying a few more things with my Alchemy's...

Decreased the enclosure size to 1ft^3 exact.

The output in this size enclosure is incredible also! - the subs even sound a bit tighter- definately what I am looking for.

Leaving them here this time- 1ft^3 seems to be the magic number!!

what does the 1ft^3 mean? in know the 1 ft but what does the ^3 mean? sorry but not too used to the grammar on these boards.

Its just a basic algebra symbol.

as ^2 would be square- ^3 would be cubic

this may explain things a bit better

k, that's what i was thinking. also, should i go with the a 12 inch l7 with the titanium cone or with a 12 inch alchemy?
