ok thx so much and sorry to be such a noob is ok for me to run at low volume till i do it long as no shut off? and how much would a big 3 cost roughly and were to get.?

sure..i would invest in a voltage meter just to make sure its in a safe voltage range. for the big 3, it depends on which wire you buy. probably dont need more than 8 feet though.

always try to keep voltage above 12.5v. a stinger meter is $35 shipped. for the big 3..say $4 a foot shipped? so $36? or even better look through the classifieds and find some wire.

ok i got you my friend i just talk to said i may have wired it wrong from the sub to my amp..

i ran one pos/neg out of my subs each to the amp and then joined at the amp to combine ? is that correct i assuming it is becuz it works at low volume i think that just as i turn it up i go below min. volts for the amp or to much ..?
