Alternator/Big 3 question *Pics*

Where would I connect the positive and negative cables for doing the big 3?

Positive goes on the big red wire to the batt. Ground goes to a bolt somewhere on the engine to the body of the car. Then a wire from the body to the battery.

that plasitc piece comes off. dont remember how, but there is a connection behind there so dont worry about breaking it off or not. and then you will run your positive right there. a negative to your engine block and chassis wherever you can find a place

So the black plastic is just a cover? Will there be any issues if I take it off? Or by plastic are you referring to the grey connector that plugs in to the alternator?

no the black cover stays. grey thing that plus in is just a cover for the wire, you can take that off to get to the alt + bolt
