Alternative to DQX/DQXS?

Hey all,

I have three amps, one for the subs, one for my 7" mids, and one for my ID Horns. I need a good Xo and EQ to run all this. I also need something with a line driver in it since my HU is a CarPuter. Are there any affordable alternatives to the DQX or DQXS from AudioControl. 400-500 bucks is a LOT of money to me, and I am trying to see if there maybe something else out there that would work for me that wouldnt be so ****ed expensive. I feel kind of lost as to where to even begin looking. Any suggestions are appreciated.

eqxs's have seem to drop off the face of the planet. I cant find them anywhere. The apline H701 is 500 bucks also, so i might as well go with the Audiocontrol at that point. There doesnt seem to be anything else out there, atleast not for a lower price point.

right, but then wouldnt I have to buy several items seperately? I dont know of any analog piece that does everything I need. Is there something like that out there?
Yes, you would likely have to buy separate peices.

But, do you want space maximization or most cost effective solution //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif With external units, you generally can't have them both. Pick your poison.

Analog is going to be cheaper in most instances, but require slightly more space consumption. Digital will come in an all-in-one package, but generally be more expensive.

Or....you could sell your deck and pick up a deck with built-in features, like the Eclipse 8053 or CD70000, or some of the Alpine offerings. Won't have as many options as an external analog unit or external digital unit (such as less EQ bands)....but is cost effective, space saving and will still allow pretty good tuneability (if that's a word)

i've got some eqt's if you're interested, and can probably get you a good price son an audiocontrol xover setup
keep talking... lol. Seriously tho, I would need two EQT's plus a 3 way XO. It would have to be considerably cheaper to go that route and go thru all the extra work of mounting all those components
