alt. power qustion.

i have a 2001 chevy cavalier. i am plannin on gettin 2 12" type-r dual 4 ohm subs powered by a hifonics brutus 1206d amp and a panasonic CQ-C7413U head unit.

ive heard that my alternator puts out 105 amps. so im wonderin if that setup will push my alt. too hard or dim my lights real bad, etc. some sites said it shouldnt but i want a second opinion. thanks

Put it all in and then find out. If it does.. take steps to eliminate it.

Do the Big 3. Set your gains properly, make usre to run at least 4awg to the amp. Get a beefier battery under the hood, and lastly, think about upgrading the alt.
