Sorry, I forgot that you might be able to get one used for that budget, but I highly doubt you will find a worthy new unit in that price range.

i don't pay full price for anything

and mine was used about 2 weeks before i got it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. he just couldn't sell it so the price kept falling, then i grabbed it.

Your electrical, especialy your alt, is the last place you want to go cheap on.

Your gonna get what you pay for, for that price range so your better off keeping your stock and doing Big 3.

I'd recommend you look into dcpowerinc.com if your wanting an alt that will exceed your expectations. Price may be high but they are far more advanced than any alternator company out so far.

Just my 2 cents.
