alt going out

just got my alt today.Its a iraggi amputer 200 amp and 120amp at idle.Took it to get installed.Drove around for like 30 minutes.It worked great.But when I

got closer to home I saw that on my instament panel

that my battery voltage was in the red and was not

charging anymore.My system won't even come on

anymore.Could It have burnt up already?My old alt

(which was factory)did the same thing with my system

but it would charge up after a while.The new one I put

in was doing great but now I don't know what's going

on.

I did he e-mailed me back and said that is was probaly the battery.I just bought a new double cell yellow top abouth three months ago.What else????did my system burn it up???
