yes v6, used for about 6 months - I bought it when I had my jl 1000.1 but realized that i didn't want that amp after bad wiring so so now need for the alt anymore. I got it from mr alternator, its about 5 months used. I had a jl500.1 and 300.4 on it w/ a yellow top battery. Alt looks clean and still runs fine. If you need a picture let me know
