alt bracket/engine to battery the same??

There is NO NEED to run a second wire to the fuse box. The car mfg. already has one running there that is PROPERLY fused for the wire size for all the stock electrical components.
Running a second run to the fuse box is pointless, but hey, if you want to waste your time and money, go for it!

Did you NOT read my post? I stated STOCK components... The car mfg. has properly sized wire and fuses for all the STOCK electrical equipment on said car.

IF you add an AFTERMARKET component, you need to properly size the wire and fuse for that component...

I see reading comprehension is not your strong suit....
