Alpine's new CDA receiver.

Personally I think Alpine could do better. At least give the user high pass and low pass filters if someone wanted to go 2/3way active.
I really don't understand why they didn't do this. Kinda ruins it for me... but it looks so good...

Slightly off topic... but how does "raw" unadjusted sound quality compare between the various CDA models? What about CDA vs CDE, for example, a 9857 vs a newer CDE-121?

The 7200 is nice! I have got to figure that dang thing out, tho. I'm on a learning curve. It was actually the very first HU I've ever installed and used. lololol
ive read its dificult. i had used a cd5444 and even that was dificult at first, in timeyoull pick it up, if not ill glady take it and give you a easier one to work with hA

Eclipse made some very nice SQ decks. I still have a CD7000 & a CD8455. The only problem with several of Eclipse's top units was their ease of use. I prefer being able to put most of my attention to driving instead of my HU while the car is moving.

But then you wouldn't have to buy separate modules so you spend twice as much, to get the control that other manufacturer's include built-in to their receiver. Which would mean that it's not Alpine. I'm surprised it has the T/A and EQ's built in, all it's missing is crossovers. But it's a $500+ deck, so I guess that's fair.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/sneaky.gif.7189749b3a3f769e8815b47e8ae87f88.gif
