***Alpine's Imprint***

I am going to have to upgrade HU's very soon because mine is old and has some ground problems and just isnt as sophisticated as it was a few years back. I have been looking at a couple different decks and i like one of the eclipse units (sorry about model number), alpines 9886 and above, and pioneer 880.

I almost have a deal with a guy for the alpine 9886. I want ALL SQ, SPL is not logical to me anymore. After looking on alpines site i came across the imprint sound processor and their demo made that product seem as if god himself comes from heaven to help you out with some imaging and sound processing.

Does anyone run the Imprint? Is it worth the $180 from crutchfield? Is it more for the passengers rather than the driver? Just overall what has been said and/or what are some personal experiences with IMPRINT?

Are you running active? Or are you going to be?

If not the Kenwood Excelon KDC-X991 is an awesome HU...lots of user controls and setting ...best HU I've ever owned.
