The first time I heard of those subs (I'm assuming they were the type-E) was when I saw them in they're add. I'm pretty sure that 600 watts is peak. I'm planning on getting one of the type-R's pretty soon. I wouldn't get em. But that's just me.

 
why not try a pair of 12" type r dvc's with a mrv-1507 and a pair of r series 6 1/2 " splits can handle any thing you can dish out to them so use a mrvf-407 briged to run them. that system is probably good for 140 dB's with music and will be f****ng loud (heard 2 km's away).
