I was thinking about the IDA-X100 for my 120G ipod but i have always used pioneer and dont know how good alpine is. Is sonicelextronics a good place to buy from if i decide to get it. thanks

i have never used one, but i heard its just about, if not the, best unit for the whole ipod deal. The only thing is it doesnt have a built in CD player, but if you got all your music on the ipod then you probly shouldnt mind.

Any of the Alpine units with direct connect for the iPod work well. My new Kenwood works better with an interface similar to the x100. Sound quality is limited by the quality of your rip.
