I have a 340 or 360watt 4 channel amp from alpine ( dont remember if its 340 or 360). And an Alpine 650 amp for my type R. This will be going into a 91 talon. My question is : Should i get type R speakers? It takes 6x9" s and something smaller in the front. Oh yeah. I have an alpine head unit

Go to ta shop and listen to all the speakers they have on display. Personally i have nvr heard type r's but i have been told they sound good. Good to me could be *** to you. So go listen to some and then decide.

From what ive read, decent midbass for the money although the tweeter is a little harsh....
