alpine x305 w/imprint

Has anyone had experience with this combo? How is the sound? I havent heard any reviews of these two together. I dont use cd's any more only my ipod.

I had the 305 without imprint and hated it moved to the fusion ipod dock and loved it

Couldn't ever get it to sound how I liked. The fusion has a 7 band eq and not sure pre out voltage but there was an audible difference just switching HUs

i had the x100 with imprint and got rid of it. sq was terrible. same thing with the x001 without imprint.
