I have an Alpine CDA-9825 installed in my car right now and am looking to upgrade to a cda-9835. These two stereos use different 16-pin wire harnesses however. I was thinking that the difference in harnesses is probably because the cda-9835,9833,9813,9815,etc have the v-drive amps which pull more amperage. I will have the internal amp turne off though.

A)Would I be safe using my already installed harness.

B)Are they not compatable at all?

C)Should I stop be lazy and just switch them?

D)Add your own advice.....

Thanks!
