I'm considering either getting Alpine type R 6.5' component fronts and coaxle 6x9's or RF Punch's..

So pretty much middle of the road there..

Also should I get an amplifier and if so which one should I go for?

Cheers guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Would they sound alright if I had the type R speakers off the Head unit for now untill I can afford an amp?And which amp guys?
They'd be ok. Just don't clip them (distortion will be a good signal to turn it down).

As far as an amp, there are always alot of 4 channels to choose from in the classifieds. Name a budget when the time comes and I'm sure we can find you something you'd like.

EDIT: MB Quart and SoundStream have some nice budget-wary amps.

Thanks a bunch mate, type R seems to be what everyone loves so I guess that's the one to go..

So you're saying if I hear distortion and play them too loud without an amp my brand spanking new speakers will blow out on me? :p
