i dont get how so many people think that kenwood menus are so difficult. pretty straight forward.

Nah,Kenwoods menu's are fvcked and can be very much a PITA .

The instructions were written by a retardand are hard to understand esp since they incorporate 2 models in one bookelt (789/889)

Eventually I cought on but even still my 889 can and does confused the shit out of me,the EQ menu is horrific compared to Pioneers which is real easy to use

But no one single HU is perfect they all have there pros and cons . . .

it really depends on what you are looking for in the HU. most people on here like the features so i would go with pioneer. i own the deh-p7700 and i love it but my uncle just got a kenwood for his birthday and i must admit it is pretty nice! but i would go with pioneer!

Yes, new guy we know you like your Pioneer (as you've pointed out in other threads as well) but this was an Alpine or Kenwood thread so please stay on topic.
