alpine v12 amp specs

i love th v12 series
I love my MRV-1507. I like owning one of (if not THE) largest amp alpine ever produced. And the power is so clean that I ran an 8" tube sub which was rated WAY under the amp's RMS rating... and didnt distort at all. Takes a lot to get the V12 series of amps to get clippin... Of course i was just testing the tube sub

MRV 1507? Holy shit. I used to have a mrv 1000. That amp killed my entire electrical system, till I got smart enough to hook it up right. I was 19 and dumb as f**k. It pounded the shit out of 2 boston pro 10 subs, even blew one.

Rly? It dims my lights a lil... till the batt and out once and shut my HU off, and just about the entire car off... if it werent a manual, it would have died. Anywayz.. Yeah I cant figure out why it isnt as loud as I think it should be. I know one channel was blown sometime in its life, but it was repaired before i got it. Ive been pushing 2 memphis 12s rated at like 200 w rms a piece for close to two years. Never once had a funny smell, and they WONT DIE! christ. I even turned bass boost all the way up, cranked the parametric equalizer, and cranked the gain up. No death //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Stupid sealed boxes.

Hey I have the same MRV 1000. Im going to be hooking it up to my 2 kicker CompVR 10" DVC 4ohm subs.

Im looking for some ideas to best hook it up, this amp is very tough to come by now adays and tough to find info on. What do you think, my subs do rms 300 each.

Secondly, where the copper screw, input is on the amp, the screw is broken off inside of the terminal and I cant get it out, I still have the speaker wire inside since the screw is holding it in there, this is when it was hooked up to channel 1 Mono'ly.

Thread is almost two years old, faggot.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

Lies. No such amp.

^^^ You are an idiot kid, I obviously bumped it because I had a question about it and it was the most related thread on the forum without having to make a whole new one, that makes plenty of sense. And yes Ive heard of that amp the person above this mentioned, don't say no such amp, you are clearly lacking any knowledge on the subject, so please stay out and let us experienced people talk okay little man? Thanks everyone else, let the discussion continue now.

Heard of?

Heard of means nothing.

I've heard of people putting out 1,500 horsepower in a Honda Civic with stock internals... doesn't mean it's true.

Kid?

I doubt you're much older than me. If you happen to be quite a bit older than me, then it doesn't show. Anyone with half a brain would know that you don't bump a two year old thread, you make a new one.

Experienced people?

Eat a dick. In fact, eat a bag of dicks. I've owned every V12 amp prior to the newer style V-Power (pre 2004 if I recall correctly), with exception of the MRV-1000 and the MRV-F405. To my knowledge, Alpine has NEVER come out with a red V12 series amp. If you've seen this and have info on it, please share. Otherwise, don't take your high and mighty butthurt attitude to try to put me down without having info to back it up, ***.
