I just installed a alpine 9853 which went smoothly.. turned it on it sounded pretty good all speakers worked.. but the volume was on level *1* and its quite loud *2* is loud and *3* sounds like its gonna blow my ******* speakers up! and at level 1 when its somewhat quiet you can hear a HISSSS in the background which I know is because its amplifying the background noise WAY to much. How can I turn this down? I cant find anything in the manual.

aside from that the deck owns

I think I know what it is, My car has factory amps! the sound is getting amplified by the deck which is way more powerful then my stock one AND my amps.. but they are so small ..

sounds like you found your problem...but you need to be carful of one thing

Depending on what type of stock system you have your speakers might not be running a 4ohm load. Some of the stock Bose systems that are in nicer cars have speakers that run at 2ohms so they can squeeze that extra power out of the puny stock amp. So this means if you decide to run the stock speakers off JUST the head unit power make sure the stock speakers are running a 4ohm load or you will burn up the internal amp.

My Lexus IS300 has 6x9's in the back that run at 2ohms thats the only reason I know any of this. Wasnt a big deal though since I ripped them out anyway once those Focals whent in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
