Alpine that flips out 1.5 DIN

My friend said he was in a local electronics store and he said that he saw this alpine CD player that flipped out to a din and a half. I was wondering what anyone knew about it? Does anyone have a model number.

they had a few older models that did that.... i believe it was called phantomface xl... sorry, dont know much obout the new ones...

I think it is the CDA-7998. I am curious if it is XM-ready?

Yes it is XM-Ready, plays mp3s as well.

And has no internal amp. I used to have one. Best HU I've ever owned. Stupid me sold it for $200. Absolute SQ monster.
