alpine swrt12 (shallow) box build

Alright,

I bought 2 alpine shallow 12s. I have them behind my rear seats of an 06 silverado crewcab (4 door). My sealed Box was bought off of the super sound crew website. When purchased i gave them my sub specs to be built for the set of alpines i have and it is not really built to it. It sounds great still, but i want to go up and beyond. So my question here is has anyone built a ported box for shallows? Is it not recommended? I do want to keep my seats in the rear, so will the little space i have be a huge problem? i do plan on building my self, but before i do i want make sure i dont wwnt to open amd huge can of worms.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

So a couple days later some research and math formulas later, i decided to try to build a tube port shallow mount box. I got my dimensions setup, over the weekend i plan on buying my MDF, and start my cuts. Post em up later when i get every complete. If it dont turn out the way i like them to sound, i may just buy another Apline SWR-t12 and just add 3 to a sealed box
